Funding for the Northern New York Agricultural Development Program is supported by the New York State Legislature and administrated by the New York State Department of Agricultural and Markets.<\/p>\n<p>Northern New York is New York State&#8217;s second largest region for agricultural sales; at last census, totaling more than $1.174 billion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the focus of Northern New York Agricultural Development Program projects?<br \/>\n<\/strong>In any given year, NNYADP projects span the diversity of farming enterprises in the region, from dairy, livestock and crops to fruits and vegetables, \u00a0maple production, opportunities for season extension, and new and niche product development.
