NNYADP Projects in 2025

NNYADP logoFunding support for the Northern New York Agricultural Development Program is provided by the New York State Legislature through the New York State Assembly and administrated by the NYS Department of Agriculture & Markets. In 2025, thirteen projects, selected by the the NNYADP Farmer Committee as high priority, are underway.

 

DAIRY: What If: Linking dairy sustainability metrics to promote, drive, and support sustainability

FIELD CROPS and AG ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH
. Building a Field Crop Performance Network: Year 2
. Cultivating soil nitrogen supply with manure
. Effect of legume/sorghum intercropping on yield and forage quality of corn silage in NNY
. Evaluating the Benefits of Tile: An analysis of yield & quality of corn silage planted 0ver vs. between subsurface drainage tile lines, with farmer survey
